Got A New Camera!

My grandfather got a new camera a few weeks ago and he brought it over to my house so I could try it out! Of course I dragged my brothers around for a while. Surprisingly they did not do that bad. Here are some of the photos that I have taken.

(he wanted to wear those glasses....)

I hope you like them! Stick around there might be more to come!

Look What I Found!

I love the Wizard of Oz...a lot, ever since I was a little girl. But never had it crossed my mind to search the Wizard of Oz on Etsy and take a peek! Well I found someone who did. I was just browsing through and stumbled upon this awesome treasury. Just great finds, I love everything about it!

A special thanks to Squishedfairy of Etsy for letting me share these wonderful picks!

Long Time No Talk

It has been a while! I am back at home for good now. I am enjoying my summer and working A LOT (which would explain the "not blogging-ness"). But I am going to try and start up again and get things going. I have some new items waiting to come out and they should be posed on my site soon! I also have some photos to post too. Stick around. Its good to be back :)

Happy Day

I have been trying to get a Treasury for the last week or so. I logged into Etsy today just to check up on everything and I thought I would take a look at some Treasuries so I clicked the link and the list was at 333. What luck! I was thinking Alrightttt! So I waited for a little while and it popped up and I grabbed one! Here it is. I hope you enjoy it!

I was feeling like Damask today. I am not sure why but I just love all of these designs! They are so classic!

Oh The Things He Does...

My bother Ben is on a mission trip with our church down in Mississippi for his Spring Break. They are helping the people who were affected by Hurricane Katrina (it is amazing that they still need help!!!) I remember one of the first things he asked when he called my parents on the way down there..."Dad, are there going to be any lizards down there?" (my brothers are bug, lizard, snake, bird--just animal crazy!) Here is a picture of my brother Ben doing what he does best on his mission trip in Mississippi...

All My Buddies

Two weekends ago my brother and sister-in-law needed a babysitter for the night so they could meet up with some friends. A.J. and I were home that weekend and we said we would love to help out! (we love watching those kids!) So we hand some fun with my nephews. They showed us how to play some games on the WII. It is amazing how well these two 4 year olds can play. They beat us every time!

My youngest nephew, Kaden, we in his bed when we got there and we just had to see him, so we got him up to play! As soon as I said the name A.J. he got really excited and started dancing and yelling "A.J. A.J. A.J. A.J." over and over. He followed A.J. around alllll night. He would be sad when he left the room and sit on his lap any chance he could. It was sooooo cute. Just too cute!

Treasury Tuesdays!

I am going to start a series on my blog! I am very excited. Every Tuesday I will be posting a few treasuries that catch my eye. I am going to try and get a mixture of items and sellers. Please feel free to visit any of the shops listed in the treasuries. There are bound to be some wonderful items that you can not help but fall in love with! So please check back every Tuesday for my favorite Treasuries picks! Feel free to let me know what you think about the postings and the items found in the Treasuries. Enjoy! Here they are...
This Treasury was put together by skoshisbits from Etsy. The title is perfect for all these photos--just relax and enjoy the outdoors, take a walk. Just beautiful photos of the wonders of nature. All of these have captured some wonderful moments of the great out doors. Great finds!

This Treasury from UmbilicusDesigns is so totally cool. I love the unusual theme and unique items. Everything is just so interesting and one-of-a-kind. I had no idea you could do that many things with a bone theme. Shows you how talented Etsy artists are! Great picks!!!

I am just so drawn to these colors and tones. This is a very well put together and cohesive collection by Pleyades. I am maybe a little bias because one of my favorite colors is blue but I love how every picture is different but they all go together! Wonderful pictures!
So these are my picks for this Tuesday! I hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think about them. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Here are a few of my favorite St. Patty's Day finds from fellow Etsy-ians! Just take a look at some of these great items. Some are beautiful, some are fun, some are funky. But all of them have two thing in common--they are all green and handmade by wonderful artists! Click on the photo and it will take you right to the item's listing!

This "Beach Ball - Genuine Sea Glass Cage Necklace" comes from SeaFindDesigns on etsy. Here you can find beautiful sea glass jewelry for any taste. Just beautiful!

Here is a "Lynn-Green Guinea Feather Headband" that is a perfect alternative for a leprechaun hat! At LovMely on etsy you can find all types of headband colors and combos. Very fun and funky!

These adorable "Lucky Charms - 12 Scalloped Embellishments" are perfect for adding that St. Patty's Day touch to any scrapbook page or card! Check out CarasScrapNStampArt on etsy for wonderful paper crafts. Too cute!

Check out this "Four Leaf Recycled Bike Clock" very resourceful and creative! Take a look at 1byliz on etsy to find some more totally cool and funky accents to add to your home!

These are just a few of my favs for St. Patty's Day! I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I know where I live I am going to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather! If anyone else has any favs for St. Patty's Day please feel free to post them in the comments! I would love to see them. Thanks.

Newest Item!

I just posted this wonderful little birthday card today! This card features some of my favorite paper of all time. The edges are sewn with my sewing machine (btw my sewing machine and I have a love hate relationship--don't ask). I added some cool ribbon I found for only a buck! I then safety pined a little cupcake circle to the knot for a final touch! Check out this list in my Etsy shop!

Sneak Peak

I am really working hard to get my shop restarted and give it some updated flare. I have a few items up my sleeves. The ones I am most excited about are...

Royal Crown Tags: These come in sets of 8 with a blue, pink or black crown. Each one is dyed, cut, stamped and antiqued by hand (antiqued is the brown ink seen around the edges).
Classic Chandelier Card: Urban papers and colors mixed with a little bit of glam sure makes for an elegant card.
Chandelier Button Tags: These tags are just beauties! Each one has two red stitches and a vintage button attached. Enjoy!
Urban Scroll Fanciful Frame: I love these colors! I just love the way they contrast and blend at the same time!

I hope you like these new "vintage-urban" items. Check out my shop for these items posting!

As Clean as it Gets

I just got back home for Spring Break!!! Ya! 11 days at home with my family. Last night I have no idea what came over me...all I wanted to do was clean. So I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. I sorted out all my drawers and shelves. I set up my new sticker holder I got for Christmas. It is AWESOME! I love it! (thanks mom and dad!) It's just so much easier to create when everything around you is clean and where it is supposed to be. Now who knows how long this will last...I like to consider myself an organized and clean person. If you asked my family sometimes it gets out of hand but when my juices are flowing that is a whole different story. But it sure feels nice to have a clean and tidy working space!

On a different note...
I am headed over to my Grandparents tomorrow. I really would like to work a few new frames and get some of those listed. It has been kinda tough taking pictures and getting them listed but I really would like to get some of those up on my etsy site. So make sure you stick around, Ill have some frames up in no time!
